#Review: Global Little Yogis by Barkha Sharma

Global Little Yogis
Author: Barkha Sharma

Rating: 5/5

Yoga is the essence of life. But how many of us actually believe in the effects of yoga? One thing I can say for sure is that young children would rather dance and expend their energy than indulge in meditation or yoga. Still, there’s hope: if guided properly and if the practice of yoga is taught early (taught to be fun), these children might take it up and make it a habit. Global Little Yogis is a collection of asanas that have been beautifully illustrated and presented in a delicious manner. This informative book explains how yoga is crucial for overall well-being. That’s not it. The book also draws from mythology and traditional music- practices and beliefs.

Global Little Yogis is also about the spiritual touch. The natural elements that can find their relevance in each of the asanas are deftly illustrated. Simple and vibrant, this book will not only be enjoyed while reading but can be used as a guide to training little children. The language is comprehensible and as I said, the presentation is what catches the eye!

A must-have book for every would-be yogi!

Best wishes to the author!
